Most panels contain abstract, painterly fields of colour, with hard-edged sweeps, curved bands and layered streaks. The grid is almost full-bleed, leaving only slim white margins at the outer edges. The fourth panel in the second row is replaced by the large black words “BIG LEAVES”, while the fourth panel in the fourth row is mostly white and carries the smaller word “Siglo” near its lower-left corner. The panels vary in colour and arrangement. Reds and oranges recur in the top row, often laid over deep blue or black; one panel has a broad blue arc enclosing a red-orange area, while another is dominated by mottled blue and red. Across the middle rows, turquoise, cobalt and navy meet vivid red, magenta, yellow and green. Some marks form horizontal stripes or broad diagonal swathes; others curve like cut-out arcs or narrow ribbons. The lower row includes a dark blue panel with a red-orange flare, a yellow and blue-green sloping field, a nearly black panel crossed by a magenta band, a red curve against blue, and a final arrangement of yellow, turquoise and red horizontal bands. The colours are saturated and strongly contrasted, with occasional dark outlines and uneven, brushy edges. The imagery appears painted or paint-like, with overlapping strokes, scumbled patches and visible variations in colour within individual areas. There is no consistent illusion of depth or identifiable scene: each panel reads as a separate abstract composition. The repeated grid gives the cover a measured, graphic structure, while the varied marks and colour combinations make the overall surface lively and irregular. “BIG LEAVES” sits across the white space of the second row, in uppercase black sans-serif lettering, with the two words on one line. “Siglo” is set in small, dark lettering at the bottom-left of its otherwise blank panel. ASSOCIATIONS AND AESTHETIC IMPRESSIONS The grid suggests a compact gallery of abstract fragments: each square offers a different balance of colour and gesture, yet the repeated spacing makes them feel like variations in a visual sequence. The white gutters act like pauses between notes. Against that orderly framework, the paint seems to move freely—curling, scraping and sliding across the panels. The palette shifts between heat and coolness. Fiery reds and oranges can feel like glowing embers or late sunlight, while the dense blues bring to mind water, shadow or evening skies. Yellow and green introduce a more earthy brightness, though even those passages remain part of the same restless, non-naturalistic play. The result has an energetic, handmade character, somewhere between a set of miniature painted studies and a colour chart that has come alive. The sparse lettering gives the composition a brief moment of typographic calm amid all that movement.
