Words accumulate, fade and collide, as if a single name were being looked at through layers of tracing paper. There is a tension between the title’s stately, classical serifs and the busy, almost mechanical multiplication beneath it. The result can suggest an old book’s formal lettering caught in a contemporary graphic system, or a map whose labels have become the terrain itself. The vertical strands lend the centre a woven quality, though everything remains unmistakably made of letters. Clear and airy at first glance, the cover grows denser the longer it is viewed; its order depends on repetition rather than stillness.
