The visual descriptions and “Associations and aesthetic impressions” essays published by dbcovers are offered under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), to the extent that copyright or similar rights held by dbcovers apply.
What you can do
You may copy, share, translate, adapt and reuse the texts, including for commercial purposes, under the terms of CC BY 4.0. Downloadable TXT files contain the complete visual notes, source link, licence information and suggested credit.
Give credit and keep the source
Credit dbcovers, retain the supplied licence information, link to the original artwork page where reasonably practicable, and indicate if you have made changes. A ready-to-use HTML attribution is available beside each text download.
For online reuse, we recommend the supplied ordinary HTML source link, without a nofollow attribute. This is a suggested attribution format, not an additional condition of CC BY 4.0. Attribution may be given in another reasonable manner appropriate to the medium, means and context of use.
Text and artwork are separate
This text licence does not replace the licence of an album cover or film poster. Each image retains its own credited party, source and licence, shown on its artwork page. Downloading a description does not include or relicense the image, recording or film.
Interpretation and scope of rights
Factual descriptions may contain mistakes, and aesthetic associations are interpretations rather than documented artistic intentions. The CC BY 4.0 offer covers only rights that dbcovers has authority to license, where those rights exist. It does not create copyright in otherwise unprotected material or restrict uses that do not require permission.
No warranties are given. Read the full CC BY 4.0 legal code for the applicable terms.
